National Tsing Hua University Operations Center for Industry Collaboration (called as OCIC) in principle to transform campus research to industry and to facilitate diversified industry-university activities, such as:

• Help faculty promote and manage their research findings, patent filing, technology transfer, and maintenance and use of intellectual property rights.
• Help faculty commercialize research findings, encourage and help faculty and students to start up new business.
• Promote industry-university alliances, organize industry-university partnership activities, facilitate industry-university exchanges.
• Promote National Science Council, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Economy industry-university collaboration programs, such as incubation program for research findings, SME Innovation Incubation Center Program, entrepreneurial service programs for graduates (U-Start), programs for anchoring innovations and entrepreneurship, Innovations and Startups, and advanced R&D program for industry-university.
