The Transducers 2019 Conference and Transducer Research Foundation (TRF) is offering travel support, on a competitive basis, for attending the upcoming Transducers 2019/EUROSENSORS33 (TR19/ES33) Conference in the form of
waived registration fees (banquet tickets not included) for students and young researchers (i.e. 3 years after obtaining their PhD degree) who are authors of accepted papers (excluding Late News) for an oral or poster presentation at the upcoming TR19/ES33 conference and are NOT the presenting author.
Student Travel Grants are available for
1st, 2nd or 3rd authors who are NOT presenting (students and young researchers), which would not have a chance to travel otherwise
are eligible to apply. PRESENTING authors are not eligible for the travel grant and are expected to register through the regular registration process.
A total of 40 stipends will be granted by the
Student Travel Grant Committee. The selection process strives to award highly scored contributions, while also giving consideration to geographical and topical balance, among other criteria.
Students/Young Researchers who have received notification of acceptance of their conference contributions are encouraged to apply online during the acceptance process by Friday, 1 March 2019. Recipients of the Grant will be notified no later than Tuesday, 26 March 2019. Successful recipients are required to submit a thank-you letter and a short report on their impressions of the meeting (0.5-1 pages) no later than 4 weeks after the end of the conference to:
